Charles Demuth, an American-born painter, was born on November 8th, 1883 and passed away on October 23rd, 1935. He was a prominent figure in the Precisionism movement, known for his meticulous attention to detail. Demuth received his education from Franklin & Marshall Academy, Drexel University, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He furthered his studies at the Académie Colarossi and Académie Julian in Paris, where he became a part of the avant-garde art scene. Demuth's strong work ethic is evident in his masterful artworks, which have influenced generations of avant-garde artists. Notable paintings by Demuth include After Sir Christopher Wren, Piano Mover's Holiday, Yellow and Blue, and Mountain with Red House, many of which feature colorful landscapes. Today, original paintings by Demuth are held by private fine art collectors and galleries around the world.
